Top 500 eTailer Motis Brands sustains years of strong growth for DiscountRamps.com site with partnership of boutique platform provider Kalio

Motis Brands, a rapidly growing IR Top 500 etailer, approached Kalio with a challenge:
The investors had charged CMO Eric Grunewald, an industry veteran and frequent speaker at the Internet Retailer Conference, with dramatically growing the company’s online sales. Converting their old Discount Ramps ecommerce site became a priority and required a combination of vision and expertise.
Together with Kalio, DiscountRamps.com became an enterprise-strength, flexible, modern site with specific fundamentals:

The Motis team knew they would need to refresh the site constantly to keep ahead of the competition, requiring a flexible cloud platform that didn’t limit them to a rigid template but allowed them freedom to innovate. In addition, they needed a real-time integration to NetSuite, whose ecommerce capabilities were not up to the challenge.
Motis had another challenge.
Operating a modern ecommerce business from a small town in rural Wisconsin made it impossible to find the critical technical people they would need to keep modifying the site as the business grew. They needed ongoing capacity from a highly skilled team with deep knowledge of the platform and the technical leadership to keep them on track.
Kalio responded by providing ongoing dedicated capacity from a Dedicated Account Team, with leadership from a seasoned ecommerce Solutions Architect and the other roles needed to constantly move the site forward. Planning is done on an annual and quarterly basis to keep the team continuously focused on priority projects, and there is never a shortage of ideas to keep the business growing.
After several years of strong growth, the company is now launching other sites for their unique brands, such as www.RaceRamps.com, which they manage from the same Kalio Commerce Site Manager. Having recently moved into a huge, sparkling new warehouse, this category leader is positioned for continued strong growth.
